LIMS Specialist training course 2018

The LIMS Specialist is in all respects a new professional figure, indispensable in all laboratories and production companies that use a LIMS software.
Il LIMS Specialist è a tutti gli effetti una nuova figura professionale, indispensabile in tutti i laboratori e le aziende di produzione che si avvalgano di un software LIMS. In some situations this role coincides with the laboratory manager, in others with the IT manager, in any case it is a reference figure for LIMS users and for all other people involved in interfacing activities for data exchange and/or the development of this platform.
Objectives: the course aims to provide the LIMS Specialist with an in-depth knowledge of the logic that underlies the structure and architecture of Prolab.Q LIMS according to the user’s level.
There are 4 diversified training programs including both technical and practical exercises.
The courses will be held at the new Open-Co headquarters, immersed in the Valpolicella vineyards.
For those who will take part in the training courses Open-Co will give a certificate of participation.
Overview of the basic functions of Prolab.Q, in particular of the day-to-day operations of acceptance, preparation, instrumental analysis and reporting operators.
- Types of objects and events that are available in Design mode
- Scripting language for the development of forms and activities
- Examples of workflow automation
- Logics and customization of the dashboard
- Practical applications: acceptance forms, generic forms, custom dashboards

How to register:
The courses will have a limited number of max. 10 participants. We suggest you reserve your place as soon as possible to avoid not being able to participate.
Hours: 8:30 am Reception; 9:00 am Beginning of the training; 5:30 pm End of the day.
The cost of the courses will include welcome coffee, coffee break and lunch.
For practical exercises each participant will have to bring their own notebook.
Open-Co will provide access to a Prolab.Q platform remotely (via wi-fi).
